Learn About Our Psychiatry Services
-
We begin with a complimentary 10- to 15-minute phone consultation to see whether Faith Rohlke, MD Psychiatry Inc. is the right fit for your needs.
This time can be used to give a brief history and current concerns, and ask questions about the practice.
-
All initial assessments are conducted via telepsychiatry. In very rare cases when in-person care is necessary, arrangements can be made at a clinic location.
Each patient completes an initial assessment to review current concerns, relevant history, and treatment goals. When appropriate, treatment may begin at that time.
Initial assessments may be scheduled over 1 to 3 sessions, depending on clinical need and patient preference.
-
Appointment frequency and duration are individualized based on clinical need and patient preference.
Many patients benefit from more frequent check-ins when starting a new medication, changing medications or doses, or experiencing new symptoms. Once symptoms are stable and medications are well established, some prefer to space visits farther apart as needed.
Psychotherapeutic support is integrated into sessions, and working with an outside therapist is always encouraged.

Dr. Rohlke welcomes consultation with other physicians, and many primary care providers find psychiatric consultation helpful for their patients.
Clinical Consultation is often requested in ADHD cases, especially when the history is unclear, diagnostic questions remain, or medication guidance is needed.
Patients may also seek a second opinion and may choose either a one-time assessment with feedback or ongoing care.
Collaboration with primary care providers, therapists, and other members of your healthcare team is welcomed and encouraged.
*neuro-psychological testing is not offered at this clinic, and is usually done by neuropsychologists. We are happy to provide a referral if these services are needed. ADHD is typically a clinical diagnosis, and our psychiatrist is experienced in this area of care.
-
Sometimes lab work may be requested as part of your care. If needed, this can be completed at a local laboratory.
We will provide the necessary lab orders.
If you have had recent lab work completed by your primary care provider, previous psychiatrist, or another healthcare provider, please let us know so unnecessary repeat testing can be avoided.
Faith Rohlke, MD Psychiatry clinic offers person-centered medication management through a collaborative, insight-oriented approach. Care is grounded in evidence-based practice and may also incorporate psychodynamic, relational, and mindfulness-based psychotherapeutic approaches to support more individualized treatment.
